Make plastic an endangered species!

From 26 June to 3 July 2019, Crédit Agricole will be holding Commitment Days. During this event, employees are invited to take action against plastic pollution.

In addition to the information and awareness campaign, several activities will be organised for employees to perform concrete actions for the environment, in France and internationally.

 

Friday 28 June - Collection project to clean up the banks of the Seine

Nearly a hundred employees from several of the Group’s entities will take part in a collective project to clean up the banks of the Seine at Villeneuve Saint Georges in collaboration with the “Organe de Sauvetage Ecologique” Association on Friday the 28th of June.

Monday 1 July - A climate fresco for a better understanding of climate change

A “Climate Fresco” workshop will be held on Monday the 1st of July from 10:00 to 12:00 in room 22 of the Evergreen Business Center. The workshop will be fun, participative and creative, and offer an introduction to how climate works and the consequences of its imbalance. It is open to both novices and connoisseurs. 20 places are available, register here!

 

Tuesday 2 July – Contribute your skills to the Plastic Odyssey team

Group employees are invited to participate in 2 pro bono missions for Plastic Odyssey at the Evergreen Campus on Tuesday the 2nd of July


The aim of Plastic Odyssey - sponsored by the Crédit Agricole Group in 2018 - is to fight against plastic pollution by creating micro-recycling plants in emerging countries.
Plastic Odyssey will be embarking on a round-the-world expedition on their ambassador recycling ship in 2020, and they need to:


1 - consolidate their communication strategy.
2 - design different scenarios for setting up micro-recycling plants.

28 June – 18 July - CA Plogging Challenge

Put on your trainers and make plastic an endangered species! From the 28th of June to the 18th of July, Crédit Agricole is organising an international plogging challenge among Group employees* to clean up the most kilometres. Plogging is a Swedish concept that combines jogging and picking up rubbish. To participate, download the KM For Change app and be ready to go on the 28th of June! You will be sent a login code for your entity.
