• In France to Le Tholonet for visiting the Oshun headquarters (1 day)

• In Senegal at Dakar (4 days) and at Thiès (1 day, 1.5 hours drive from Dakar), context permitting (5 days)

Beginning of the mission: June / August 2021

BACKGROUND

Oshun offers inclusive solutions to provide access to clean water for the most vulnerable populations while encouraging the development of a virtuous local community ecosystem. The company stands out for its innovations in rural development, connectivity and water treatment.

Oshun Senegal was created in March 2018, shortly after its headquarters Oshun France. Oshun Senegal has grown from 1 to 27 employees in less than 3 years (June 2018 - early 2021). Oshun Senegal is completing a process of administrative and HR structuring and wishes to strengthen its support functions, primarily logistics and purchasing.

The logistics and purchasing supervisor manages orders from Oshun France, particularly for water purification equipment, and purchases in Senegal (transport, IT equipment) and also monitors stocks. The existing tools are not integrated into the GIS, and the information lacks fluidity.

Oshun Senegal has been supported by the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation since 2018. In 2021, the Foundation will strengthen its support with a Solidarity Bankers mission, a Crédit Agricole skills volunteering programme to support organisations financed by the Foundation. The aim of the mission is to support Oshun Senegal in setting up procedures to simplify and secure logistics, purchasing and supply management, and to strengthen the staff concerned.
